Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) Delays
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport faced delays due to an internet and web systems outage. Starting Saturday morning, the disruption was linked to a possible cyberattack at the Port of Seattle. Authorities quickly isolated critical systems to prevent further issues and are working to restore complete services.
Flight Delays and Cancellations
By 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, 247 flights were delayed, and six were canceled. To make things easier, people were told to check with their airlines for information and get to the airport early. Using mobile boarding passes and checking baggage through airline apps was also recommended to speed up the process.
Ongoing Restoration Efforts
The airport is collaborating with authorities and partners to support affected travelers. While no exact time for full recovery is available, efforts are ongoing to bring operations back to normal as soon as possible.
