Recently, the Israeli forces put a lot of limits on the Jenin Governmental Hospital. The limits affected both patients and medical workers.
Limitations on Movement
From early in the day, it was hard to move around in the hospital. The medical staff had to wait a long time to get into the building. One doctor was held up for almost thirty minutes because of a search process.
An ambulance incident
The ambulance in Nablus that was taking a sick child to the hospital had big problems. They wouldn’t let the paramedic back into Jenin Hospital for several hours, so the car had to wait outside before it was finally allowed to come back inside.
An examination of identities
Strict checks of people’s identities were also conducted. Before they could enter or leave the hospital, both patients and medical staff had to undergo many checks.
Present Situation
The Israeli force is in the area right now, but they haven’t surrounded the hospital yet. The staff and patients can move around normally again as of right now.
