Tragedies in Gaza Recently
Twelve Israelis prisoners were killed when an Israelis bomb went off in Gaza. Because of this terrible event, Israeli politicians have become very angry.

Former Prime Minister and leader of the Israeli opposition, Yair Lapid, wants everyone to go on strike. On Sunday, people all over Israel were told about the strike. He wants to make the Netanyahu government do something.
For the government to do something
There is a lot of pressure on Lapid to get the Israeli government to stop fighting in Gaza. So does he. He wants the government to talk to Hamas. “Recovering the prisoners’ bodies” is what the government is focusing on right now, according to Lapid.
